Mr. Patel is the founder of A.P. Accounting & Tax Services, P.L.. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Florida and is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. In addition, Mr. Patel has received the prestigious Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation which is awarded by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants to those CPAs who have demonstrated a high degree of expertise in the practice of financial planning. He is also a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor assisting small and medium sized businesses with all aspects of their QuickBooks financial accounting software. Additionally, Mr. Patel is a Certified QuickBooks Point of Sale (POS) ProAdvisor supporting retail clients and merchants with their POS information systems. Mr. Patel completes more than 80 hours of continuing education and training each year to stay abreast with changing tax laws and financial regulations. He is a proud member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA), Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and the Financial Planning Association (FPA). Mr. Patel has previously held positions in accounting firms and private businesses. He is a lifelong Florida resident and is a graduate of the University of Florida and Nova Southeastern University.
